Life Skills Education and Job Readiness Programs

Inspire-NJ will offer a variety of services to help differently abled young adults better apply themselves. We will address soft skills, independent living skills, and employment education skills. These skills will be adopted by the students throughout their day-to-day activities @ The Barn, a program support location. Our organization supports the unique ability to teach these students employment skills by providing them with the ability to practice in real-life situations.

Each student will come out with the following knowledge:

  • How to conduct and have an appropriate conversation
  • The ability to problem solve
  • Manage time properly
  • Communicate properly with supervisors
  • Become financially intelligent
  • Menu planning for the home
  • Food Safety
  • Food service employment skills
  • Culinary Skills
  • Gardening and farming
  • Clerical and reception skills
  • Computer and resume assistance will be provided
  • Job placement assistance will be provided
